AIA West Jersey and the Deptford Mall partner to raise awareness about hunger in the community with CANstruction!

Join us for an exciting, hands-on challenge where creativity meets compassion! Teams will showcase their ingenuity as they design, construct, and unveil awe-inspiring structures built entirely from full cans of food. These impressive sculptures, crafted to the theme "America 250," will not only captivate the public but also impress our panel of judges.

Build Day takes place on Saturday, June 27th, in Center Court, where talented teams of architects, engineers, contractors, and students will collaborate to bring their unique designs to life. This year’s event is extra special as we celebrate major milestones—

All can sculptures will be on display at the Deptford Mall from Saturday, June 27th through Sunday, July 12th, providing visitors the opportunity to appreciate the creativity and artistry of these amazing designs and vote for their favorite.

Join us in celebrating the power of community and creativity—and take a step toward ending hunger in South Jersey. Bring non-perishable food donations to Center Court June 27th through July 12th and help us support the Food Bank of South Jersey’s mission to end hunger in our communities.

Canstruction® is a nonprofit organization that hosts annual competitions showcasing structures made entirely out of full cans of food. All of the cans used at Canstruction Pennsauken are donated to the Food Bank of South Jersey, helping to fight hunger in our community.
